TactiPrint3D is a web tool that helps 3D-printing sellers track products, inventory, filament, sales, and profitability. It is built and operated by Jacob, the independent seller behind the TactiPrints 3D Etsy shop — there is no separate company entity behind this app. This policy explains exactly what information TactiPrint3D handles, why, and how to reach us. It covers only TactiPrint3D (tactiprint3d.com) — not the Etsy marketplace, which has its own policies.
Account information
You sign in with Google or with email and password. Both go through Supabase Auth, our authentication provider. With Google sign-in we receive your Google account name and email. With email sign-up we store your email address; your password is created, stored, and verified entirely inside Supabase Auth — it is never visible to TactiPrint3D, never placed in our database tables, and never logged.
Your business data
To run the app, we store your business records in a private database row that belongs only to your account: products (name, color, SKU, price, costs, print time), inventory quantities, filament spools, active spool assignments, sales records, expenses and income entries, your print history (dates, quantities, estimated hours and grams), printer entries you add (names, brands, models, costs), and import history. This data is stored by Supabase and is only accessible to your signed-in account.
Billing and subscription information
When you upgrade to Pro, we store your Stripe customer id, subscription id, subscription status, price, and renewal date so the app knows your plan is active. Payment card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout page and are handled entirely by Stripe. TactiPrint3D never sees, stores, or processes your card number.
Analytics
We record a small number of anonymous product-analytics events (account created, signed in, upgraded to Pro, first action) together with the marketing source that first brought you here. Events go to PostHog and to an events table in our Supabase project. These events contain no business data — no products, sales, or financial figures.
Bug reports
If you use "Report a Bug", we receive the text you write (what happened, what you were doing, expected behavior, steps) plus technical context sent automatically: the page you were on, the app version, your browser and screen size, your light/dark theme, a timestamp, and your account email. Reports are collected through Netlify Forms and go to the operator's inbox.
Information on your device
Your browser stores a few preferences locally so the app feels right when you return: light/dark theme, your printer's local network address, and your cost-calculation settings (electricity rate, waste factor). This stays on your device and is not sent to us. Your sign-in session also lives in your browser while you are logged in.
Data export
Settings → "Download Full Backup (JSON)" exports all of your business data (products, inventory, filament, sales, expenses, income, print history, printers, and import history) as a single file that you keep. Your data is yours.
What we do not do
We do not store payment card numbers. We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not read or analyze the contents of your business data beyond displaying it back to you.
How long we keep things
Your business data and account information are kept for as long as your account is active. There is currently no self-service account deletion. If you want your data removed, contact us (see below) and we will delete your database record. If you cancel your Pro subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal, billing stops via Stripe; your business data stays until you ask us to remove it.
Third-party services we rely on
Supabase (authentication + business-data storage) · Stripe (payments, subscriptions, customer portal) · Google (Google sign-in) · PostHog (anonymous analytics) · Netlify (hosting and the bug-report form). Each processes the parts of your information described above.

The service
TactiPrint3D is a web application for tracking 3D-printing products, inventory, filament, sales, costs, and estimated profitability. It is operated by Jacob, the independent seller behind the TactiPrints 3D Etsy shop.
Accounts
You create an account by signing in with Google or by registering an email address and password through Supabase Auth. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account email, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms and privacy practices also apply to that sign-in. Choose a strong password and tell us immediately (via the contact channels below) if you believe your account was compromised.
Acceptable use
Use TactiPrint3D for your own genuine printing business. Don't try to access another user's data, break the service, probe or attack its infrastructure, resell the app as your own, upload malicious content, or use it for anything illegal.
Your data
Your business records (products, inventory, filament, sales, expenses, income, print history, printers) belong to you. We store them for you in a private per-account database row and never sell them. You can export everything at any time from Settings → "Download Full Backup (JSON)". See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored and where.
Cost and profit figures are estimates
Costs, profit, margins, and per-hour figures shown in the app are calculated from the numbers you enter and the settings you choose. They are estimates to help you make decisions — not guarantees, not accounting advice, and not your official books. You are responsible for your own pricing, accounting, and taxes.
Pro subscription and billing
Pro is an optional monthly subscription ($4.99/month) that unlocks unlimited products, spools, sales, and advanced analytics. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe through its hosted checkout; TactiPrint3D never sees your card details. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can manage or cancel anytime from Settings → "Manage subscription" (the Stripe Customer Portal) — cancellation stops future billing through Stripe, and your Pro access ends when the current period does. The free plan remains available with its usage limits.
Third-party services
TactiPrint3D depends on Supabase (sign-in and data storage), Stripe (billing), Google (sign-in), PostHog (anonymous analytics), and Netlify (hosting). Their own terms apply to the parts they operate. Outages or changes on their side can affect the service.
Ownership
The TactiPrint3D application — its code, design, and branding — belongs to its operator. Your business data remains yours. You may not copy, resell, or create a competing product from the app itself.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as a living product: features change and improve over time. We aim for reliability but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or discontinue features; if something major changes, we will update this page.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using TactiPrint3D at any time and cancel billing through the Customer Portal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — for example, abusing the service, attempting to access other users' data, or attacking the platform.
Disclaimers and liability
TactiPrint3D is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator's total liability to you for anything related to the service is limited to the Pro fees you actually paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The current version with its date always lives on this page; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

About TactiPrint3D
Hey, I'm Jacob. I'm 16, and I run TactiPrints 3D, an Etsy shop where I design and sell 3D printed stuff.
When my shop started getting busier, I tried to find an app to keep track of my prints, filament, and how much money I was actually making. Everything I found was either made for giant print farms, cost a fortune, or was so complicated I gave up on it in a day. So I was stuck doing what most of us do — a messy spreadsheet that never got updated.
Eventually I got sick of it and decided to build the thing I wished existed. This app is it. Every feature in here came from a problem I actually ran into running my shop — like forgetting which spool I was printing from, or not really knowing if a product was profitable after filament, electricity, and Etsy fees.
